Police looking to identify suspects in Loblaws theft

The Barrie Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify two suspects following a theft at Loblaws, located at 472 Bayfield St., in the City of Barrie.

On Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017, two suspects were captured on video surveillance selecting four packages of baby formula and concealing them into a tote bag they had taken from a nearby shelf. When attempting to leave the store they were approached by loss prevention, although they fled the area on foot.

The investigation is ongoing.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect #1:

  • Male, white (25 to 29 yrs.)
  • Medium build, 5’10”
  • Wearing a blue Toronto Blue Jays baseball hat, grey jacket and tan colored pants.

Suspect #2:

  • Male, white (25 to 29 yrs.)
  • Medium build 5’9”
  • Wearing a black baseball hat, black shirt, jacket, jeans and black shoes and carrying a red bag.
