Police looking for suspects in theft at Angus McDonald's

Theft happened on April 20 when two people stole a backpack containing a $1,200 white iPhone X12, perfume and debit card

Members of the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating an incident of theft from a local McDonald's restaurant in Angus, Essa Township.

On Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at approximately 7:41 p.m., two unknown suspects attended the McDonald's and stole a black Vans backpack. The backpack is described as having roses on the front, and contained a white iPhone X12 ($1,200 value) with a teal case, perfume and a Scotiabank debit card.

Descriptions of the pair captured from video surveillance:

Suspect #1: female, Caucasian, approximately 16-20 years of age, long dark straight hair, wearing a black jacket with a grey hoodie underneath, black sweatpants, navy blue backpack, black Nike Air Force runners.

Suspect #2: male, Caucasian, approximately 16-20 years of age, wearing a red plaid coat, black hat, possibly with a blue rim, and wearing two black backpacks, wearing on his chest and one on his back.

Police are requesting the public's assistance in identifying the two suspects.
