Barrie Police wish to make the public aware of several suspected overdoses in the city’s downtown that occurred over a six-hour period today that resulted in multiple people falling ill after taking an unknown illicit substance.
Barrie Police suspect the cause is a recent circulation of strong opioids.
If using illicit drugs police strongly suggest to never do them alone and always have a Naloxone kit readily available.
