On Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, a body of male had been discovered on the front lawn of a residence on Letitia Street, in the City of Barrie.
The discovery had been made by a woman just before 7 a.m., after she had noticed the male laying on her front lawn and contacted police. The area of Letitia Street was shut down for several hours while police conducted an investigation and canvassed the area witnesses.
The body of a 54-year-old Barrie male was transported to the Center of Forensic Sciences for a post-mortem, to determine the exact cause of death. At this time, investigators do not believe foul play was a factor in this incident.
