Police hope to identify McDonald's robbery suspects (2 photos)

ESSA TOWNSHIP - The Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), are hoping to identify the suspects involved in the robbery at the McDonald's Restaurant in Angus.

Members of the Nottawasaga OPP Detachment were notified of a robbery that had occurred in Angus at approximately 12:05 a.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018.

During the investigation, it was determined that two males entered the local restaurant. One of the males went behind the counter and removed an undetermined amount of cash from the till and then pushed an employee when confronted. Both male suspects then fled the restaurant.

The first male suspect is described as being 5'11, white, wearing a half ski mask covering his face, blue acid tie dyed hoodie with logo on back, green pants that were skinny at the ankles and wearing black and white converse shoes.

The second male suspect is described as wearing a black hoodie.

The investigation continues by the Nottawasaga Detachment Crime Unit and they are requesting assistance from the public to identify the suspects.
