On Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 11:40 p.m., Barrie Police executed a search warrant on an address on Golfdale Road, in the City of Barrie.
In the house police located two knives that open by spring and centrifugal, a quantity of marijuana, cannabis hash resin and psilocybin mushrooms.
The 21-year-old Barrie male who resides at the residence was charged with:
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon X 2
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking (marijuana and mushrooms) X 2
- Possession of a controlled substance (cannabis resin)
The male was released on a promise to appear and Undertaking with conditions. He will be in a Barrie court in January.
