TAY TOWNSHIP, ON - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Southern Georgian Bay detachment responded at 8:09 p.m. June 19, 2020, to a report of an assault from ongoing neighbour dispute on Easton Avenue in Port McNicoll, Tay Township. Officers arrived along with County of Simcoe Paramedic Services and located the involved persons and provided at scene treatment for one injured person.
An investigation into the incident has resulted in the following persons being charged-
Jesse Beausoleil 27 years of Tay Township with Assault Cause Bodily Harm contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
and Keith Stewart 47 years of Tay Township with Assault contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
Both accused persons were released on an undertaking to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland on August 27, 2020.
