Police believe missing Georgina man could be in the area

He was last seen at his home on March 11

Investigators with the York Regional Police #3 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking public assistance in locating a missing 66-year-old vulnerable man from the Town of Georgina.

Peter Meyer was last seen on Friday, March 11, 2022, approximately noon, at his residence located in the area of Ravenshoe Road and Leslie Street.

He has not returned home and police have not been able to locate him. Investigators believe he could be in the Bradford, Barrie, Innisfil or Orillia areas.

His family and police have growing concerns for his well-being. Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact police.

Description:

  • Male, white, 66 years
  • Slender build
  • Medium-length grey hair
  • Approximately 5’8”, 130 to 140 lbs.
  • Last seen wearing a blue hooded sweater, blue jeans, black jacket, black baseball hat with Reid's Roofing logo
  • He may have changed clothing

  • Last seen driving a white 2003 Ford Thunderbird convertible
  • License plate ARDY581
  • Vehicle similar to photo
