A pedestrian was killed on Friday evening at around 7:45 p.m. after being struck by a vehicle going southbound on Highway 400 near Bradford.
OPP says the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Southbound traffic was diverted at Highway 88 while the 400 was closed for several hours for the investigation.
Police say it is unclear why the man was on the highway.
The investigation is ongoing.
