The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are appealing to the public for any information regarding a motor vehicle collision investigation that occurred just before 1 a.m. on Dec. 11, 2022.
At Highway 400 southbound near Highway 11 split, in the Township of Springwater, a vehicle described as black car, passed a police vehicle at a high rate of speed and collided with a guardrail. This vehicle did not remain at the scene.
This vehicle would have sustained significant damage to the front and rear left corner.
