TAY TOWNSHIP, Ont. - The members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are seeking the assistance of the public to solve this crime.

Sometime between June 22 and June 24, 2017, unknown person or persons stole a pickup truck from a property on Sturgeon Bay Road; this motor vehicle is described as:

  • Make: Chevrolet
  • Model: Silverado 2500HD
  • Year: 2004
  • Colour: Black
  • Licence Plate: AP79678 (Commercial)
  • VIN: 1GCHK29284E366021
  • With: large off-road tires, bug deflector, two 5 ½ inch chrome stack exhausts approximately 36 inches in height and extension side mirrors/towing mirrors

Police at this time believe this stolen motor vehicle may have been driven in a westerly direction on Hwy #12 when it was stolen.
