One person taken to hospital after late-morning crash in city's north end

Emergency crews were cleaning up this afternoon following a two-vehicle crash at St. Vincent Street and Rolston Drive in the city’s north end.

Barrie police received the call at 11:19 a.m., Thursday, noted Barrie police communications co-ordinator Peter Leon.

One person was injured and taken to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre by ambulance. There was no update on the person's condition. 

Vehicles were towed and city crews were called in for clean-up shortly before 1 p.m., added Leon.
