Emergency crews were called to a collision this afternoon involving a car and a school bus, but what led to the crash remains under investigation.
The incident happened shortly before 4 p.m., Tuesday, on Bayfield Street, just north of Wellington Street.
Barrie police communications co-ordinator Peter Leon told BarrieToday the school bus had no passengers aboard at the time.
The male driver of the car was taken to local hospital, but the extent of his injuries is unknown, Leon said.
The investigation is ongoing.
