One arrested in relation to LCBO theft investigation

Barrie Police Service has identified the two suspects in connection with the distraction theft at the LCBO at 587 Cundles Rd. E., in the City of Barrie.

Clear and detailed video surveillance was released on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 in regards to the theft of multiple liquor bottles stolen the Monday prior. Within 24 hours, the pair were identified. 

On Thursday, March 29, 2018 the 46-year-old Alliston male was arrested for theft under $5,000 by Nottawasaga OPP and returned to Barrie Police Service.

The 38-year-old Barrie female is currently outstanding and a warrant will be issued for her arrest for theft under $5,000.
