Honda van rolled on its side following Friday evening's crash at Roberts Road/Leslie Drive and 25 Sideroad in Innisfil

No serious injuries were reported following a three-vehicle crash in Alcona, Friday evening.

Shortly before 7 p.m., Sept. 3, South Simcoe police, Innisfil firefighters and Simcoe County paramedics were called to the intersection of Roberts Road/Leslie Drive and 25 Sideroad.

The collision resulted in one of the vehicles – an older-model Honda van driven by an Alcona man with a child in the passenger seat – being flipped onto its side.

There were no injuries, although firefighters had to help extricate the occupants of the van.

“A vehicle drove through the intersection, and struck another vehicle,” said a South Simcoe police officer at the scene.

The collision is still under investigation.
