On Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, at 7:30 p.m., South Simcoe Police responded to an Alcona home for a domestic dispute. When they arrived on scene, a woman reported that she had been kicked by her husband.

Domestic Assault

INNISFIL - On Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, at 7:30 p.m., South Simcoe Police responded to an Alcona home for a domestic dispute. When they arrived on scene, a woman reported that she had been kicked by her husband. A 45 year old Innisfil man has been charged with Domestic Assault. He must stay away from the woman while awaiting a September court date. The victim did not require medical attention.

Pursuit Witnesses Required

INNISFIL - On Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, just after 11:30 a.m., a woman was apprehended in Bradford, after leading South Simcoe Police on a pursuit that began in Stroud. The woman drove down Yonge Street in a grey Volkswagen Jetta, refusing to pull over, until she was stopped in traffic at the 8th line in Bradford when officers were able to box her in.

Suspect For Identification

INNISFIL - South Simcoe Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying a suspect in an assault. On Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, around 6:00 p.m., woman was at Innisfil Beach Park when she was seen slapping a child, believed to be her daughter. A witness confronted the woman and took a picture of her. The suspect had left the scene by the time officers arrived. She is described as South Asian, about 30-40 years of age with dark hair.  PC Jeff Fawcett wants to speak to the suspect, and is asking anyone who can identify her to call him at 705-436-2141, x1430.
