Missing Ottawa teen could be in the Barrie area: police

Ottawa police say the girl's family is concerned for her safety; She was last seen July 7 around 11 a.m.

Ottawa police are hoping the public can assist in finding a missing teen who may be in the Barrie area.

The Ottawa Police Service says Avery Dillabough, 15, was last seen on July 7, 2021, around 11 a.m., in the Heron Road area.

Her family is concerned for her safety.

Police say Dillabough could also be in Brockville, Oshawa or Toronto.

Dillabough is described as a Caucasian female, five-foot-three and 132 pounds with shoulder-length hair that may still be dyed purple. She has a piercing in her nostril and has blue eyes. There is no clothing description at this time.
