Barrie police announced this afternoon that Javontae Gerow is no longer considered missing after his whereabouts were confirmed.
In a tweet, city police thanked everyone for their assistance and efforts to locate the 14-year-old, who had been reported missing overnight between June 16-17.
It marked the second time he had been reported missing in just a few days. Gerow was also reported missing early last week, but he was located Monday morning.
