OPP seek assistance in locating missing man (update: found)

The missing man was located safe and secure on Harriet Street in the Town of Penetanguishene. The family and involved searchers wish to thank the members of the public that assisted in the search.

4:45 p.m. original release

PENETANGUISHENE - Members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with members of the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and OPP K-9 Unit are currently searching for a missing Penetanguishene man in the Penetanguishene area.

Jason Dunn, 37 years of Penetanguishene was reported missing at 12:53 p.m. on Jan. 17, 2018 from a Jeffrey Street address in Penetanguishene.

He is described as 5'6", 105 lbs, thin build, wearing a dark coat, dark sweat pants, soiled running shoes and a black skull cap.

The family of the missing person have medical concerns for his health and any information of the whereabouts of the missing man would be greatly appreciated by family and police by calling 1-888-310-1122.
