Meaford man accused of debit fraud at college

The Barrie Police Service received multiple tips on the identity of a male wanted in relation to a theft that occurred at Georgian College, which resulted in fraudulent transactions on the victim's debit card.

A 19-year-old Meaford man has been arrested and charged with; theft and fraud under $5,000 and two counts of breach probation. The male is scheduled to appear in a bail court in Barrie.
