Man arrested trying to flee on foot after Hwy. 400 crash

A 20-year-old driver faces a slew of charges after he fled on foot following a single-vehicle collision at Highway 400 northbound and Aurora Road, Saturday night.

With the assistance of York Regional Police, the fleeing driver was located and arrested by Aurora OPP at about 6 p.m. March 16, according to Ontario Provincial Police Highway Safety Division. 

A Brampton man has been charged with dangerous driving, possession of break-in tools, possession of auto master key and possession of property obtained by crime, according to the OPP.
