A couple of collisions last night has led to impaired charges for a 37-year-old Barrie driver.
Barrie police communications co-ordinator Peter Leon said the first collision occurred Sunday night, shortly after 10 p.m., when the driver allegedly backed into a fence on Eccles Street.
A few minutes later, at 10:14 p.m., police say the same driver collided with another vehicle on Innisfil Street, near Brock Street.
A Barrie woman has been charged with impaired driving (over .80 milligrams) and failure to remain at the scene of a collision under the Highway Traffic Act. The accused will be in a Barrie court on April 12.
She was taken to local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
