South Simcoe Police Service officers are seeking more potential victims after a house cleaner was charged with defrauding an elderly Innisfil couple.

Police began an investigation on Friday, Feb. 1, 2019 after being called to an Innisfil home for a report of a theft.

An elderly couple told police they had been defrauded by a longtime house cleaner.

Investigation revealed that numerous fraudulent cheques had been cashed on the couple's bank account.

On Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019 the accused surrendered to police at the North Division, was charged and released with a court date later this month.

The money has not been recovered.

Annette Collinson, 49, of Innisfil, has been charged with fraud over $5,000.

Investigators are appealing to anyone who had dealings with the accused to contact Constable David Oxley at 705-436-2141 ext. 1451.
