Hot tubs worth $50K stolen from south-end business (4 photos)

Black Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck was pulling a U-Haul trailer during theft from Huronia Road business

The Barrie Police Service is seeking assistance from the public in identifying three suspects and a vehicle that were involved in a theft in the City of Barrie.  

On Thursday, April 2, 2020, Barrie Police attended to International Pool and Spa Centres located at 704 Huronia Rd. after it was discovered that two hot tubs were stolen. Assisted by the use of video surveillance, it has been determined that the thefts occurred on Monday, March 30, 2020 between 11 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. The video clearly shows that the thieves attended and loaded up one hot tub and returned a short time later and took a second.  

A black Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck that had a white sticker rear window on the driver side and stock steel rims pulling a U-Haul trailer was used and the suspects responsible are described as:  

  • Suspect #1:  M/W, 20-30 years old, dark coloured “FXR" jacket
  • Suspect #2:  M/W, 20-30 years old, heavy Set, wearing a black ADIDAS hoddie, dark hat, rubber boots
  • Suspect #3:  M/W, 20-30 years old, wearing white or light grey hoddie, black vest, white hat dark coloured ECCO sweatpants.  

The stolen hot tubs have a combined value in excess of $50,000 and are described as: 

  • Classic Coast APEX Bench (Tuscan/beige) Serial # 20020004  
  • Luxury Coast APEX L Curve (Black/Midnight) Serial # 20010349
