ORIGINAL STORY:
Ontario Provincial Police are on scene at Huron Court in Alcona this morning.
The immediate area is contained and being evacuated.
Police say there is no threat to the general public and nearby Alcona Glen Elementary School is not affected.
Police are asking the public to avoid the area.
The OPP is currently providing coverage in the South Simcoe Police Service jurisdiction — Innisfil and Bradford West Gwillimbury — due to Thursday's funeral for two slain officers.
