The stolen trailers are valued at $22,000

Barrie Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating the theft of two utility trailers.

Sometime between Nov. 17 to 20, 2017 two trailers were stolen from a storage facility on Line 3 of Oro-Medonte Township. The owner is a small construction business which is now unable to continue with some of their work due to this loss in property.

  • Trailer #1 - Competition Model 140 dump trailer, galvanized steel, 12 feet long with a ball hitch lock. Value - $10,000
  • Trailer #2 - Canadian SD2 black in colour,16 feet long, flatbed style trailer with wooden floor, and has a ball hitch lock. Value - $12,000

The flatbed trailer had a number of metal framed crates on it when it was stolen.
