Barrie Police Service is currently looking for the public's assistance in locating a vehicle involved in a suspicious fail to remain collision.

On Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017 at approximately 11:35 p.m., a vehicle was parked on the side of the road on Peel Street, in the City of Barrie.  The owner returned home to notice damage to the rear, driver side bumper.

As they were inspecting the damage a black Pontiac, believed to be either a Grand Prix or G6, drove by slowly with obvious damage to the front passenger bumper. The suspicious vehicle turned and returned slowly down the street and as the victim approached to speak to the driver, the vehicle sped away mounting the curb at Sophia Street and Owen Street.
