Gas for grass? OPP says you can't do that

Caledon OPP were called to a Highway 10 gas station Saturday morning and found the suspect showing signs of impairment

CALEDON  A Brampton man has been charged after police say he tried to complete his gasoline transaction by paying with cannabis. 

On Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021 at approximately 7:30 a.m., Caledon OPP were called to a Highway 10 gas station following the report of a driver attempting to pay for his fuel with marijuana. 

As officers investigated, police say the driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested.

A 31-year-old Brampton man has been charged with operation of a motor vehicle - over 80 milligrams.

The accused is scheduled to appear in Orangeville Provincial Court in February 2022.
