Barrie Police conducted a RIDE program in various locations over Friday night involving 180 vehicles.

As a result one driver was charged with Over 80 and received an ADLS suspension and two drivers were issued three-day suspensions for a blood alcohol level in the warn range.

Barrie Police remind drivers to plan ahead when they are going to enjoy alcoholic beverages.

DO NOT rely on your judgement after you have already had a few.

Sleep over, call a taxi, or call a friend or parent. The Barrie area also has a number of services able to deliver both you and your car safely home.

Make it a night to remember- not a night you can never forget.
