INNISFIL - On Friday, Nov. 30, 2018, while officers were set up for RIDE checks on 10th Sideroad near 2nd Line, a vehicle failed to stop. The vehicle was subsequently pulled over on 10th Sideroad near the 3rd Line. A roadside breath test resulted in the driver's licence being suspended for three-days after registering in the warn range.

INNISFIL - A 35-year-old Innisfil man is charged with impaired driving and over 80 after a citizen called police to report a suspected impaired driver.

On Friday, Nov. 30, 2018 around 9 p.m., a citizen called police about a man sitting in the driver's seat of a vehicle in the parking lot of a bar in Cookstown.

When police arrived, an odour of alcohol and signs of impairment were detected. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the North Division. Further testing resulted in readings of three times the legal limit of alcohol.

The man's licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.
