An Elmvale man was killed in a crash this morning in Penetanguishene, according to provincial police.
Southern Georgian Bay OPP have identified the victim as 32-year-old Benjamin David Fordham, who was the lone occupant of the passenger vehicle at the time of the crash.
The two people in the large commercial vehicle were triaged at the scene for minor injuries by Simcoe County paramedics.
Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle crash on Thompsons Road shortly after 8 a.m., Wednesday.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing.
Motorists can expect Thompsons Road to remain closed until approximately 4 p.m.
