WASAGA BEACH, ON - The Ontario Provincial Police investigation into the drowning of two men in Wasaga Beach on July 8TH, 2017 is now complete. The deaths are not suspicious. Alcohol is not a factor. The two men were not wearing PFD's when they were removed from the water.
The deceased have been identified as:
- 27 year old Dilvinder LAKHANPAL of Caledon, Ont.
- 26 year old Nimit SHARMA of Collingwood, Ont.
The OPP Marine Unit would also like to extend gratitude to the boating public that either offered or did assist in the water search efforts.
