On Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017, South Simcoe Police received a call just after 5 a.m. for a break and enter that had occurred at a franchise restaurant in Alcona. When the employee arrived to work she noticed the front glass door to be smashed.
The security footage shows a car pulling up to the main door just before 5 a.m., a male getting out and smashing the door and making entry into the store. He is seen leaving shortly after out the front door with only the "tip" box containing an unknown small amount of change.
Anyone with information is asked to call South Simcoe Police or Crime Stoppers at 1-877-222-8477.
