Crews respond to Holland Marsh crash involving wagon full of carrots (5 photos)

Collision occurred at around 7 p.m., Wednesday, on Tornado Drive; Rear dual-wheel assembly torn from tractor

At around 7 p.m., Wednesday, Bradford firefighters, paramedics and South Simcoe police were called out to Tornado Drive in the Holland Marsh for a collision involving a pickup truck and a large tractor pulling a wagon load of freshly harvested carrots.

The pickup truck tore off the rear dual-wheel assembly from the tractor, which ended up out in the field. The pickup ended up in the field across from the tractor.

The driver of the pick up was being treated by paramedics, while the driver of the tractor appeared to have not been injured.
