Cops looking for white Crown Victoria with heavy front-end damage

The Barrie Police Service is appealing to the public for assistance after a fail to remain collision occurred in the City of Barrie.

On Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, at approximately 11:29 p.m., police responded to a report of a fail to remain collision that occurred on Hickling Trail. From the investigation that followed, it was apparent that while attempting to turn around on the street and travelling at a high rate of speed that the vehicle was unable to do so, lost control and struck an electrical transformer and a tree.

The involved motor vehicle, which is believed to be a white Ford Crown Victoria, left the scene with what is described as extensive front end damage and was occupied by two males.
