South Simcoe Police Service officers are appealing for witnesses following an incident on commuter train tracks in Bradford.

On Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020, around 9 a.m., police were called to the train crossing at the 10th Line near Yonge Street.

Once on scene, police learned that a commuter train had struck a tree that was lying across the tracks.

There were no injuries.
