City police say minor injuries suffered in Monday crash, charges pending

A vehicle travelling westbound on Dunlop collided with two vehicles that were going eastbound, says police official

Monday morning's multi-vehicle crash on Dunlop Street West is still being investigated, but Barrie police say no one suffered serious injuries.

Police responded to the scene, east of Tiffin Street, shortly before 8 a.m. On Monday, police said there were two vehicles involved, but today's updated information indicates that there were three vehicles involved in the crash.

A vehicle travelling westbound on Dunlop collided with two vehicles that were going eastbound, according to Barrie police.

Barrie police communications co-ordinator Jennett Mays said the collision is still being investigated by the Barrie police traffic unit.

Charges are also pending, Mays said.

"At this time, the injuries to all parties involved appear to be minor," she added.

Police had closed Dunlop Street West between Tiffin Street and Ferndale Drive North for the on-scene investigation, but the roadway was reopened by 11:30 a.m., Monday.
