City police are looking for the public's assistance to locate a young male who has been spray-painting graffiti throughout northeast Barrie.

Police say the culprit has been tagging that area of the city with the moniker 'Ringo'.

According to police, he has a skinny build and is responsible for numerous incidents of graffiti.

On May 30, at 5:52 a.m., police also say he left his tag on a number of surfaces at St. Joseph's Catholic High School on Cundles Road East.

Investigators say they have video and still images of the suspect carrying out the act, but they cannot be released due to provisions outlined in the Youth Criminal Justice Act because he is believed to be a minor.
