The Barrie Police Service is seeking assistance from the public in identifying two shoplifting suspects.

On Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, police attended Canada Computers, which is located at 510 Bryne Drive, after two suspects entered the store in early January and stole an ASUS GT-AC5300 wireless router valued in excess of $450.

The male removed the router from the shelf, placed it on the floor of the store and the female picked it up and concealed it in a large black bag that she was carrying. The two left the store and at no time attempted to pay for the router.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect #1: Male non-white (possibly of middle Eastern descent), black hair, black beard, black ¾ length winter jacket with fur around the hood, a black ball cap with  “Nike“ in white lettering, blue jeans and light brown coloured boots.

Suspect #2: Female non-white (possibly of middle Eastern descent), long black hair in a ponytail, black ¾ length winter jacket with fur around the hood, blue jeans, white boots and carrying a large black bag.

If you can help identify either of these two individuals, please contact Constable Matte of the Barrie Police Service at 705-725-7025 ext. 2557 or [email protected]. Any information can be provided anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or leave an anonymous tip online at www.p3tips.com.
