CLEARVIEW TWP — Members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are assisting with a death investigation at a worksite in Clearview Township.
On Feb. 12, 2022, shortly before 10:30 a.m., the Huronia West OPP responded to a report of an unresponsive male at a worksite on Highway 26, near Sideroad 12 and 13, in Clearview Township. The initial investigation revealed that a dump truck had tipped over trapping the male underneath. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The deceased has been identified as Amandeep Singh, 28 years of age, of Brampton.
The Ontario Ministry of Labour (MOL) and the Federal Department of Labour were notified and are attending. The Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario and OPP Forensic Identification Unit (FIS) are assisting with the investigation.
