Barrie woman charged with impaired after single-vehicle crash

Police say no one was injured in the crash, which happened shortly before noon Tuesday on the 4th Line of Innisfil

A Barrie woman has been charged with impaired driving after the South Simcoe Police Service was called to a single-vehicle collision in Innisfil, Tuesday.

On Feb. 15, 2022, at approximately 11:25 a.m., police responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch on 4th Line, just west of Yonge Street.

Upon arrival, police located the driver uninjured inside the vehicle.

As a result of the investigation, a 24-year-old Barrie woman has been charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired - excess blood alcohol. Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for seven days.
