On April 8, 2020, at approximately 2:58 p.m., the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a single motor vehicle collision on County Road 10 near Highway 26 in Clearview Township.
Police spoke with the driver and determined she had been operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
As a result of the investigation, Erin Moore, 59 years of age, of Barrie, Ontario, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code (CC) offences:
- CC 320.14(1)(a) - Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
- CC 320.15(1) - Failure or refusal to comply with demand
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood on Sept. 15, 2020.
