Barrie police say driver clocked at 141 km/h on Georgian Dr.

A driver of a vehicle caught travelling at 141 kilometres per hour in a 50-km/h zone on Georgian Drive in Barrie last week has been charged with stunt driving, according to city police.

On March 15, Barrie police say a 20-year-old Mississauga man had his car impounded for 14 days, his licence suspended for 30 days, and is charged with stunt driving, which is defined as speeding by 40 or more km/h over the posted limit.

The driver had exceeded the legal speed limit by 91 kilometres per hour.
