The Barrie Police Service is seeking students for the 2018 Summer Student Placement Program. Students currently enrolled in post-secondary education specializing in Social Work or Police Studies are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support to the Community Services Unit by assisting in the preparation and delivery of the 2018 Junior Constable Camp (JCC). JCC is a day camp for selected youth, aged 9-12, and operates for six weeks of the summer break.

Candidates applying must be at least 18 years of age, be a Canadian citizen or hold a Permanent Resident status, possess a valid “G” drivers licence and be physically and mentally able to perform the duties of the position.
