A Barrie man will have to find alternative transportation for a week after a traffic stop in Innisfil.

On Wed., August 19, 2020, around 8 a.m., a South Simcoe Police Service officer conducting speed enforcement stopped a vehicle that was travelling 152 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone on County Road 4 and 5th Line.

A 32-year-old, Syed Raza, of Barrie was charged with speeding and stunt driving. His licence was suspended for seven days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.

Speeding and aggressive driving put innocent people at risk of injury or death. Slow down, arrive alive and do your part for road safety.
