SPRINGWATER TWP. – Members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision this morning in Springwater Township.
OPP were called to the area of Crossland Road and County Road 92 just after 8 a.m. this morning after receiving information that a vehicle had left the roadway and rolled over.
Officers located the vehicle and apprehended the driver.
Joshua Cooper, 25, of Barrie, was arrested and charged with:
- Operation while impaired-blood alcohol concentration-80 plus
The accused had their driver's licence suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood on Dec. 7, 2021.
