Barrie man charged following vehicle break-in investigation in Bradford

On Friday, Aug. 20, 2021 at approximately 11 p.m., the South Simcoe Police Service was called regarding a man breaking into cars in the area of Colborne Street and Natale Crescent in Bradford. Police arrived and made an arrest.

As a result of the investigation, 20-year-old Matthew Hlywka of Barrie was charged with three counts of trespass by night, theft under $5,000, and possession of property obtained by crime. He was released with a future court date.
