On Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017 at 4:30 p.m., Barrie police attended Youth Haven, located at 22 Wellington St. E. in the City of Barrie, after two residents returned reporting injuries after being involved in an altercation.
The investigation revealed the altercation occurred a short time before at Berczy Street Park, located at 144 Berczy St., in the City of Barrie.
Two victims, one with superficial lacerations as a result of the fight, were taken to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre with minor, non-life threatening injuries.
The other two males involved in the fight were known to the victims.
As the investigation continued, one suspect was located and arrested by police. The 18-year-old Barrie male was charged with uttering threats, assault and fail to comply with recognizance.
The second male, a 18-year-old Barrie male, is still outstanding and a warrant will sought for his arrest.
