On Jan. 3, 2020 at approximately noon hour, members from the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a robbery call at the Scotiabank on Victoria Street West in Alliston. 

A lone male party entered the Scotiabank branch from the rear entrance and immediately demanded money from the employees. No threats were issued and no weapon was observed. 

The male suspect left the bank through the south exit, no vehicle or direction of travel is known at this time. 

Male is being described as: 

  • Approximately 5 foot 9 inches in height
  • Wearing all dark clothing
  • Balaclava type face covering
