July 4, 1923 - February 6, 2021. Roy passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Veterans Long Term Care. He is predeceased by his wife Joy. Survived by his children Geoffrey ( Heather), Virginia, and Richard (Suzanne) and grandchildren Zachary, Alexandra and Clare. Roy served in the British Royal Air Force stationed in Africa during WW2, immigrating to Canada afterwards to work at Avro Canada on the CF-105 Arrow. Cremation has taken place. Donations in memory of Roy can be made to the Barrie Busby Centre. Arrangements entrusted to Marshall W. Driver Cremation & Burial Service, 19 Ross St., Barrie.
